            American Red Cross - Grand Canyon Chapter

I love the Red Cross and the dedicated people who proudly serve to help others. I am especially fond of the American Red Cross -- Grand Canyon Chapter    where I serve as a member of the Board of Directors.  The work of the American Red Cross is seen everywhere.  One of the Red Cross sayings is “Every      minute of every day, we’ll be there.”   Pretty cool.  The Red Cross also serves as a source of education and promotes a system of community self-sufficiency.  Learn more about the Red Cross at www.redcross.org

            Keep Phoenix Beautiful

If you want to talk about a “hands on” organizations, you want to know about Keep Phoenix Beautiful -- an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful.   Simply stated, the group works to promote the preservation and protection of our environment.  With the help of thousands of volunteers annually Keep Phoenix Beautiful dedicates its efforts to recycling initiatives and education, litter reduction, beautification, and community improvement activities.
